Join us for a weekend full of competitive rugby, friendship, and festivity at the Copenhagen Scandinavian Open 7s. Celebrating over three decades of rugby excellence, we welcome teams from all countries, ages, genders, and ambitions.

The 7’s tournament at Speed Rugby Club in Copenhagen will be played late summer 2024.

This year we open the clubhouse, the pitches and the surrounding fields for a weekend full of competitive sevens, friendship and festivity August 10th and 11th.

The tournament has been hosted in Copenhagen for more than three decades. After the first sevens in 1982, the tournament moved around Scandinavia, but eventually ended at Speed in 1987. Since then it has been an annual event with many recurring guests, but also new teams showing up each year. Last year teams that have never before participated won the men’s and women’s tournaments – JB International (NED) and Scion Rugby (USA), respectively. The Old Gringos (DEN) won their fourth consecutive Old boys cup.

We look forward to weekend full of rugby for all levels, ages, genders and ambitions, where everyone in Speed will do their best to make it enjoyable for our guests!
